This is me, Onno Knuvers. I love to illustrate and animate things. I studied fine arts at Auckland University's Elam School of Fine Arts and continued studies in classical animation. Afterwards I landed a nice job at an animation studio that produced work for clients like Disney and Nelvana. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view the studio went bankrupt and decided to become a freelance artist. Which suits me fine because I get to draw all day and continue working on interesting projects. So by day I help my clients and in my spare time I work on self generated projects like short films, limited edition merchandise, producing toys and creating work for exhibitions. I have exhibited working locally around New Zealand but also in Australia and the US, including Gallery 1988.
